2017 Brain Awareness Travel Award  




The Brain Awareness Travel Award honors an outstanding undergraduate student active in neuroscience education and outreach who is nominated by a member of the Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience (FUN). The award includes complimentary registration to the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) annual meeting and a $750 stipend to offset travel expenses. This award is sponsored by the SfN.  The Annual SfN meeting takes place from November 11-15, 2017, in Washington, D.C..

The student will be required to present a poster at the SfN Brain Awareness Campaign Event (Saturday, Nov. 11, 3-4:30 pm) AND attend the FUN Poster Session and Social (Sunday, Nov 13, 6:45-8:45pm). It is not necessary that the student be enrolled as an undergraduate at the time of the SfN fall meeting. Students are eligible if the work was conducted while enrolled as an undergraduate student.
