We are pleased to announce that registration and abstract submission for the 2010 Joint Southeast Nerve Net (SENN) and Georgia/South Carolina Neuroscience Consortium (GASCNC) conference is now open. Please visit

 March 5-7, 2010, two regional neuroscience conferences (SENN and GASCNC) will be held jointly at Emory University in Atlanta. The keynote speakers will be Dr. Catherine Dulac from Harvard University and Dr. Steve Potter from Georgia Institute of Technology. There will be short talks and poster presentations.  Preference for short talks will be given to PhD students and postdocs. Please follow the instructions on the website for abstract submission. The abstract submission and meeting registration deadline is January 20th, 2010.



The cost for registration is $70 for faculty and $35 for students, postdocs, and staff. This fee covers all scientific events and meals, including a banquet on Saturday evening.  A limited number of travel awards are available to students and post-docs based on the scientific merit of the submitted abstract and professional qualifications of the student. If you are interested in applying for a travel award, please indicate so on the registration form and provide a curriculum vitae along with your abstract.



Abstract authors will have the option of having their contribution published in the Frontiers in Neuroscience journal at no cost. See the announcement at:
