Assistant Professor of Biology (Developmental)
The Biology Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of developmental biology at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2018. Ph.D. and teaching experience required; post-doctoral research preferred. The teaching load for this position is four courses during the first year and five courses thereafter. The successful applicant will teach a lab course in developmental biology and a course in a related sub-discipline that complements the department curriculum, participate in our introductory biology program, and supervise senior thesis research. In particular, we are seeking candidates who will contribute to our college's interdisciplinary program in Neuroscience and who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations.
