Temporary Assistant Professor 9 mo
The Department of Psychology & Counseling in the College of Education and Behavioral Science seeks a highly qualified Temporary Assistant Professor of Psychology for the Undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Psychology. The position may be converted to a full time tenure track position after the first year, pending budget approval.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teaching five courses per semester in the B.S. Psychology program may include, but not be limited to, General Psychology and other courses depending on applicant's specialty.
Research space and support will be available and encouraged.
Summer teaching may be available.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required or applicable to the position responsibilities and area of specialization, including special abilities.
- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Additional hours as requested and/or needed
- Regular and reliable attendance
All faculty members are expected to assume student academic advisement responsibilities in addition to their regular teaching loads.

A Doctoral Degree in Psychology (ABD acceptable) from a recognized accredited university.
A degree in psychology is required; however, the area of specialty is open.
